Q: How would you describe your style of photography?
Our style is really a combination of both traditional Posed Portraits and candid photo journalistic style photos. We can’t stress the importance of getting those posed portraits on your big day and yet the real emotion of a wedding is captured in its candid moments.
Q: How many photographers will be at our wedding?
It depends on the package your budget allows. We feel that two photographers is always better because a wedding is just too important to try and document with only one shooter. There are so many special moments that demand to be photographed from different angles. With two of us working the ceremony and reception, we can capture twice as many shots of each event.
Q: Where are you located?
We live in Mesquite, We do travel for weddings, but charge a little extra if it's over a certain distance.
Q: How do we reserve our date?
To reserve your date, we ask for a signed contract, a deposit and then your date is reserved on our online scheduler. You can make payments as you go or pay the remainder of the balance 10 days prior to your wedding. We accept cash and all major credit cards through Paypal. If you would like to meet in person, we would love the chance to visit with you and get to know you! After you send us your contact information, we will give you a call to set up a free, no-obligation consultation meeting.
Q: What if another client with a larger budget wants to book with you on our date?
Our calendar is run on a first-come, first-served basis. Once we receive your deposit and signed contract, you are guaranteed our services. We only book one wedding per day in order to provide that couple with the best quality photography. If you are interested in booking with us, it’s a good idea to contact us as early as possible!
Q: How do you plan what shots you want to take?
We welcome inspiration pics, and we create a shot list specifically for your wedding day based upon your personality and the details of the day. We will go over a questionnaire and set up a timeline specific for your day.
Q: Do you take detail shots of the tables, bouquet etc?
Yes, we do take shots of the all the little things that help tell the story of your day, then we focus primarily on the people and the emotions of the big day.
Q: What do you wear to the wedding?
We like to dress in all black polos or wear white polos in the Summer months; this is less distracting, and doesn’t draw attention to us. It is our goal to be as inconspicuous as possible during a wedding. The focus should be on the Bride and Groom, not the photographers!
After the Wedding
Q: Do we receive the unedited images?
No, we only release the edited images from your big day. You will receive all of the edited images, the number of images depends on the size and length of your wedding. Each of those images are first checked for composition, clarity, and exposure. If necessary, they are also color corrected and/or cropped. Then your images will be uploaded into an online Gallery
Q: How and when will we receive our photos?
Your images will be ready 8-10 weeks after the wedding. We will receive an e-mail when your Online Gallery is ready, All of your images will be in high resolution JPEG format. You can download all the images to as many computers as you wish until the Gallery expires in three months. You have unlimited prints on any and all images in your gallery, but keep in mind that prints, especially large prints are best done by professional labs rather than local consumer-grade outlets. Your images will be subject to copyright, but can be used for your private and personal use. You can purchase a print package from us or order from the gallery itself. You will receive a Photographer’s Permission to Print, and can have photos made at any lab of your choice, however we recommend www.yorkphotolab.com if you decide not to order from us or the gallery.
