We believe that you deserve exceptional art to display in your home, and images that reflect every part of who you are. We strive to provide you with a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will always be remembered each time you look at your images.
What does the session fee cover? Does it include any images?
The session fee is paid at the time you book your experience, and is non-refundable. This fee covers the personalized consultation, the planning and preparation for the session, the time and talent of the photographer during the session, the image preparation and your online gallery of digital images to download, plus a personal print release.
The session fee does not include any products,but we now have Print Packages available for purchase when you book your session.
What days do we schedule Senior Sessions for?
We currently book Seniors for Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
What time of day is the best to schedule my session for?
Evenings are the best time of day for sessions, if your session is two hours long, you want the last two hours prior to the sunset time. I don't shoot in the middle of the day due to the sun being so high in the sky and casting shadows and causing lots of squinting.
Do I have to come in for a consultation?
This is new for all 2019 Seniors….Yes, the consultation is a key part of your custom experience with Charmed Photography. This is where we will get to know you and begin to plan out every detail of your experience. The consultation is relaxing and fun, and will help you start to envision your story as we bring it to life. We would like both the senior and at least one parent at the in person consultation, we usually meet at the Starbucks in Mesquite.
Do you photograph in your studio or on location?
We photograph on location, every opportunity is available to you to ensure this is truly authentic as we choose a location that represents you, your style and your story.
How many outfits will I get to wear?
You will wear several different outfits during your session, and we will plan those in detail with you during your consultation. You are not limited in the number of outfits, and we will ensure that we select the most complete variety in order to show every part of your story and personal style. We now have a popup cabana for private on location outfit changes.
What should I bring with me?
We ask that you bring any props that represent you and your story. You will receive a tip sheet that has more information on preparing for your session and what to bring with you.
When will I get to see the images from my session?
It takes approximately three weeks to properly finish your images and prepare your Online Gallery to be sent to you. But, we usually post some sneak peeks on Facebook and on Instagram within a few days of your session and we encourage you to tag yourself and share those on your social media,
Where should I order prints from?
If you paid for a Print Package, you have two weeks to send in your image order for us to get them ordered. Your print order will be delivered directly to your address. You also can order images directly from your Gallery to be delivered directly to your address as well. If you wish to order prints or products on your own, please do not order prints from any of the local stores as the quality is not what we want for your prints. We do recommend ordering from yorkphoto.com if you want to order your own prints.
Will my images have a watermark?
The images we post online for “Sneak Peeks” will have a watermark, however your gallery images will not have any markings at all.
Are my images copyrighted?
Yes, your images are copyrighted to Charmed Photography and Michele Miller, you will receive a personal print release for your individual printing needs, however, your images may not be altered or be used for commercial use without permission.
What happens if I need to reschedule my session?
We live in Texas and we know the weather can turn on a dime, so we do reschedule photo sessions for bad weather. We will watch the weather and get you rescheduled to the first possible timeslot that works for both of us.
